BLUE HOWLITE
Howlite is a soft, light mineral which is chalky white in colour commonly with black or brown veins. It is very porous & is often dyed to imitate other minerals especially turquoise.
It is sourced mainly from California, USA.
We stock dyed Blue Howlite as a vibrant but less costly alternative to the Turquoise gemstone. It lends itself to carvings such as butterflies & polished rectangular beads.
