CHERRY QUARTZ

Not actually a genuine natural mineral quartz but a high quality glass with an infusion of deep pink/red colouration. The Cherry Quartz (sometimes known as Strawberry Quartz) can then be cut into many different shapes including faceted cubes, faceted rectangles, faceted round beads, round beads and faceted briolettes to name but a few.

A 'briolette' is a recognised cut, shaped like a tear drop, this can be a ' rounded' briolette or a ' flattened' briolette as the name suggests. Cherry Quartz can even be carved into butterfly and flower shapes.

The stunning Cherry Quartz hue can vary from a milky pink through to a more clear colour with cherry strawberry striations. Although facets can really enhance the beauty of the beads it really is the striking 'Cherry Quartz' colour that make these beads a stunning addition to any piece of jewellery.
