GOLDSTONE

Goldstone is not your typical type of gemstone because it is man made. Goldstone is made from brown glass with copper oxide added. This is heated to a high temperature and when it cools the oxide changes into beautiful crystals that sparkle through the polished brown glass.

Goldstone has been around for centuries, at least since the time of the European renaissance period. Some speculate it was discovered by accident when alchemists were trying to create manmade gold.

Goldstone is stunning in appearance and is perfect for jewellery as it catches the light beautifully & is available in many different forms.
