Opalite is a high quality glass with an infusion of milky opalescent lemon/blue colouration added.
Opalite is designed to have the appearance of Milky Quartz , which in turn gets its colouration from the inclusions of gas & liquid bubbles.

Opalite glass is a stunning material and lends itself perfectly to beads such as cushion cut coins, briolette cut beads, round and faceted round beads. Opalite can also be carved into butterfly and flower shapes for focal beads in necklaces. Large opalite beads mix beautifully with pearls and mother of pearl beads for unusual jewellery items.
