SEED BEADS

Seed Beads are now in stock. We have many varieties and colours to chose in Both Indian & Czech, starting at the fantastic price of 95p. Please note that these are glass seed beads which are ideal for craft projects; card making picture making, jewellery making, modeling etc. They are not suitable for use on textiles where the garment, cloth etc. would require periodic washing. Glass is just not a suitable substance to stand the temperature changes and bashing around involved in washing. This would apply to all glass beads regardless of manufacturing origin. There are internal stresses in glass beads that react to heat changes and they are definately not as robust as claimed by many.

In addition to this we recommend that the Metallic range of beads be applied to the project using tweezers or something similar. The coating on the beads can be removed when it comes into contact with acid on the skin leaving the beads colourless.
